On January 13, 2001 the annual General Nash District Klondike Derby was
held at Camp Delmont, on the Musser Scout Reservation, in Green Lane PA.
At the close of this event was the dedication of a newly built lean-to
just accross from Dan Beard on the road to Knollbrook Lodge.
The original Scouters, to whom the building is dedicated, are named on
the plackard to the left of the entrance.
On the plackard located to the right of the entrance are two more names
of Scouters to whom the building is dedicated.
The plackards read:

The Award of Merit
The Award of Merit is the highest award that a District can give to an
adult Scouter. This award is available to Scouters who render service of
an outstanding nature at the district or Exploring division level. A
nominee must have rendered noteworthy service to youth in and/or outside
Scouting. Applications can be made by anyone on behalf of anyone else and
should be given to the Award of Merit Committee at least two months before
the District Recognition Dinner. The Committee evaluates the applicants on
Spiritual, Community and Scouting involvement. The Award of Merit is a
council award presented by districts in the same manner that the Silver
Beaver is a national award presented by councils.
